Why High-Linoleic Sunflower Seed Oil?

Not all sunflower oils have the same fatty-acid composition. Standard sunflower oil may contain varying proportions of linoleic acid and oleic acid, depending on the variety. High-linoleic sunflower seed oil is specifically selected for its higher linoleic acid content.

Linoleic acid is an essential fatty acid naturally found in the skin's lipid barrier. Including a high-linoleic oil helps complement the moisturizing properties of tallow and jojoba oil while supporting the skin's natural moisture barrier.

We chose this oil for its fatty-acid profile and its role in creating a thoughtfully balanced formula—not simply as another carrier oil.
